  • Dome tents (tent, foam sleeping pad, and a little privacy included) @ $425. per person (these will sleep one or two. We added six more, and have five of those still available.)
  • Shared 5 person tent cabins (Cot, deck chair and foam sleeping pad included) @ $425. per person. We have 1  space left in this tent cabin, shared with three other women. We’re only doing four in this five person tent cabin, to make sure there’s plenty of space for everyone.
  • 4 person tent cabin (foam sleeping pad only – no cot, and bring your own chair!) @ $400. per person. We have one 4 person tent cabin reserved, and will consider this one full with 3 people, again to make sure there is plenty of space for everyone. If you have a group of three or four, this would be perfect.

Wednesday – Afternoon / Evening
Plan to arrive between 3 and 5 pm.

You can arrive early to give yourself time to settle in, begin to unwind, and start to get the feel of the place. At 6 pm or so we’ll have introductions, a simple dinner, then get together again in the early evening, under the stars, for community spiritual practice.

Thursday starts early, with meditation at 7:30 a.m. in the Oak Tree camp area .

Breakfast is at 8 A.M. with a delicious breakfast, usually pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Let us know if you have any special dietary needs.

By 10 A.M. we have gathered at the picnic tables for the Rafting Orientation given by our Rafting Guide. We will be introduced to our guides, launch our boats from our campsite and begin rafting a fun and easy section of the river that has many Class I-II rapids, giving us time to warm up and practice our paddling before arriving at the lunch site.

About noon we stop for a hearty and nutritious picnic. Lunch includes a variety of deli meats, cheeses, breads, condiments, vegetables, fruit, chips, cookies, lemonade, ice tea, and water. They always have peanut butter and jelly too.

After lunch, we continue rafting into the Gorge, some class III rapids like Satan’s Cesspool, Hospital Bar and Recovery Room. After the last rapid we will grab a cold soda or water, and board the bus for the 30-minute drive back to camp.

Back at camp, you can take a shower, play volleyball, horseshoes, ping-pong, walk the Nature Trail, sit by the river, read, relax, socialize or shop in the camp store.

Hors d’oeuvres prepared by our guides are served about 5-5:30 P.M. The food is good, and for dinner we may have barbequed steak, chicken, and salmon, colorful salad with lots of veggies to add to it, baked potato, garlic bread, soda, water.

We’ll get together again Thursday evening for some socializing and fun!

Friday starts early, with prayer and meditation at 7:30 a.m. down by the river.

Breakfast is at 8 am.
By 9 A.M. we board the bus for the top section of the river. During the first 5.5 miles we will raft through fun and challenging rapids like Meat grinder, Race Horse Bend, and the Triple Threats. At mile 5.5 we enter Troublemaker Rapid, the largest rapid on the South Fork! After this fun rapid we’ll drift and paddle through gorgeous scenery, enjoying the scenic river and easier rapids.

We will arrive back at our campground around 1PM and enjoy a hearty barbeque lunch.
We’ll then pack things up and get together one final time for a Group Closing.
You will be ready to leave by about 3PM.
